The Empty Tea Cup | Ranjit K Sahu

 -Ranjit K Sahu

The last drop sticking to the bottom shines

Having missed the touch of the thirsty lips

Each drop holds the magic of freaky wines

Each sip granting the mind a pleasure trip

Mind seeks another fill of the hot drink

Putting aside the inhibitions strong

The flavors into the mood slowly sink

Youthful spirits breaking into a song

Time slows as the cup empties from by drop

Each minute breaking a new thought in mind

Awaiting for love will at some point stop

Causing the heart to assess a love blind

Until it becomes empty the cup holds

Passions unbridled in its sweet steamy folds
